Complete replacement of legacy MOD300 DCS with a new ABB 800xA Automation System.

Lyon MacIntyre provided all of the Application Design, Programming and Commissioning services to upgrade the Stock Preparation and Paper Machine Controls on Visy's VP5 Paper Machine.

Four MOD300 controllers were replaced with two AC800M controllers. The replacement was completed during the paper machine's annual shut where only 36 hours were available to re-terminate all I/O points and test.

System Startup, re-tuning and commissioning were completed with 2 weeks and the system handed over to the customer.
